Mazzetta's exec VP plans departure from company
Mazzetta has promoted Bennett Goldberg to VP of sales, and Joe Chekouras to VP of operations.
US shrimp supplier Mazzetta announced Monday that Jordan Mazzetta, its executive vice president, will be leaving to pursue other opportunities.
“Jordan has been a big part of our successes over the past decade,” said Tom Mazzetta, founder and CEO of Mazzetta. “I appreciate his desire to stake his own claim much in the way I built Mazzetta Company more than 30 years ago. As his father, I’m proud of the person he is. As CEO of Mazzetta Company, I’m excited for the opportunity in front of him and wish him every success.”
While no longer active in Mazzetta, Jordan, along with his brother Zachary Mazzetta, will remain minority shareholders of Jorzac Corp, the parent company of Mazzetta Company.
The company has also promoted Bennett Goldberg to VP of sales, and Joe Chekouras to VP of operations. The company also noted former employee Chris DiGiovanni has been re-hired as a marketing director to oversee packaging, brand awareness and project management.
“Bennett, Joe, and Chris, along with our entire team are committed to the company, our customers, and our suppliers. Together, we are in excellent position for future growth and leadership in the seafood industry,” said Tom Mazzetta.
